  • Co–ordination within the same department, willing to help colleagues, can do task of AP/AR Accountant when need
  • Contact closely with all staffs about operation documents, to make clear with colleagues about company process and support to solve issues related (if any)
  • Regular communication on Taxation matters affecting business performance
  • Business improvement recommendations involving Taxation matters

  • Understanding of Internal processes and policies
  • Responsible for managing daily operations of the accounting department
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information, substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents: review and analyze journal vouchers, accounting classifications and other accounting/financial statement records and reports
  • Control all the booking information entries into the system, reconcile between the system and accounting documents to ensure all daily business transactions fully and properly recorded
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information: Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports, then adhere to internal and external deadlines
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Perform various analysis reports as directed by the CEO
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Implement and improve, develop the accounting procedures specific to Quan Dat company, to ensure integrity of all financial information, to maintains financial security by following internal controls
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Monitor the compliance with VAS, and IFRS (if any), local regulations and The Company reporting requirements
  • Report – Daily/Weekly/Monthly report to make sure everything is under control
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Securus financial information by completing database backups
  • Organizing documents storage process and accounting software data
  • Capable of coaching and assisting employees within the department to develop by coordinating activities and answering questions: by conducting all necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date, by answering accounting procedure questions through researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations, by teaching the junior accountants all about the company protocols, by teaching/guiding the new accounting programs to the new employees
  • To solve any issues that rise in the department
  • Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
  • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements
  • Advise management on needed actions by making suggestions/coming up with financial solutions to the management on how to improve profits and cut losses
  • To recommendations for promotions.
  • To fix the budget of the department and implement it
  • Work with internal and external auditors, group finance team, bankers, tax authorities and other authorities when required.
  • Monitor Fixed Assets / Low value assets / CIP & Amortization charges
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information: 

- Maintain and monitor Fixed Assets, Depreciation and Amortization charges

- Maintain and monitor CIP, low value assets

- Maintain and monitor others accounts such as Other Payable Accounts, Other receivable accounts, and prepayment accounts...

- Work with the team to manage physically counting inventory and assets: monthly, quarterly, yearly.

  • Loan: Maintain the bank loan a drawing and Repayment (if any)
  • Daily report:Daily capital flash report / Daily Cash Flow/Other Daily reports
  • Weekly report:Weekly Forecast (if any)
  • Monthly report: Financial Packages / Irregular PIT (if any):

- Monthly announce the closing schedule and work with other departments to close the accounting book in time

- To oversee all the balancing of the accounts at the end of the financial year

- To be ready with the accounts for providing the final accounts anytime of the year which are required by the management

  • Take all necessary steps and actions to liaise with all relevant personnel, both internal and external in order to complete and fulfill the tasks requirements and reporting deadline.
  • Take all necessary steps and actions to check and verify all figures, information and data to ensure reports are correct and accurate.
  • Take the necessary steps and actions to secure and protect the Company's interest, properties and assets.
  • To report on variances and discrepancies and reasons for it
  • To know all the latest accounting laws and procedures
  • To take up additional responsibilities delegated by CEO
  • Taxation scopes:
  • Tax review & Implementation / Set-up
  • Tax Returns Review:

- Review the monthly/quarterly/annually Tax Returns prepared by the Accounting/HR Department (if any);

- Advise the list of expense (invoices) shall not be treated deductible expense due to non-related to business for adjusting the returns;

- Propose the list of input invoices, without Policy support, which can be supplemented by the Company Policy to claim Input VAT;

- Finding out the risk of Under-declaration of output VAT as stipulated by Tax laws, caused by inconsistency amongst Accounting Books, Draft VAT return and Inventory;

- Similar to the above, review any risk of Over-declaration of output VAT as stipulated by Tax laws, caused by inconsistency amongst Accounting Books, Draft VAT return and Inventory

  • Tax Procedure Set-up/Implementation
  • Develop/redesign tax procedure, which are applied in the reviewed period by the Company and exposing potential tax risk, to mitigate tax risk for Company, which cover the following set-up and implementation for expense, revenue, tax liabilities:


- Formality of invoices,

- Expense record procedures

- Tax supporting documents: Promotion campaign process/documentation, claiming forms, business request, payment vouchers, contracts, policies; New construction or project procedures;

- Policies and Other supporting procedures for proving expenses relating to the Company’s business purpose, including Advertising and Promotion expenses, Employment cost (including salary, benefit in-cash/in-kind and bonus), Business trip, Internal-company charges, Depreciation, Allocation, Provision and Other incurring expenses


- Formality of invoices;

- Related supporting documents: policy for issuance of invoice, sale policy, other income policy, promotion campaign compliance procedure, other related policies, contract, receipt vouchers;

- Revenue record procedures, other income record procedures, Applicable tax rates;

- Revenue reduction record procedures (if any);

- Temporary difference, Permanent difference and Revenue reconciliation amongst Accounting books, CIT returns and VAT returns.

  • Tax Advisory/ Planning on Business Model (It is applied for Senior staff): 
  • Advisory/Planning on Business for Current and New Investment:

- Study the legal basis, industry and operations of the Company;

- Frequently discuss with the CEO to obtain updates of the Company’s operation;

- Monitor Laws and related regulations affecting to the Company’s business operation;

- Advise the CEO on impact and benefit arising by the new laws or/and the updated regulations;

- Draft ruling to seek the favorable response from the local tax authorities on the new laws or/and the updated regulations, related to the Company’s operation;

- Provide the CEO in-depth answers on any issues/matters of the Company, analysis or consideration on Vietnamese tax and regulatory matters related to the Company;

- Review Contracts, Policies and recommend revisions to mitigate tax risks;

- Upon noticed by the CEO for new investment, provide in-depth analysis on the Company’s business plans or transactions and recommendation for optimizing Tax savings and mitigating potential challenges by the Tax Authorities to the CEO;

- Upon agreement by the Management, prepare the letter to the relevant Authorities or/and employ professional firms to obtain special ruling/policy or favorable reply for Tax appeal.

- Liaison with External Consultant for support to necessary cases.

  • Presentation to the CEO:

- Update of Impact Regulation to the CEO

- Monitor and report Tax Policies Affecting to Company’s Industries

- Recommend the related solutions.

  • Promote positive relations with principals, partners, vendors and distributors
  • Act in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures, prevailing Law and Legislation governing acceptable standards of Behavior, Personal Conduct, Integrity, Compliance issues and within the requirements of the Principal.
  • Note: the Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, all the above
  • Working Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00AM - 17:00PM

Yêu cầu

  • Minimum 10 years’ proven experience at the same role 
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations, banking systems
  • Understand about the contract, condition on contract, Contract Law
  • Vietnam Taxation Law and Legal requirements included PIT, VAT, SCT, FCT 
  • Be fluent in the company principles is preferable: Aluminum operation (Design, Supply, Fabrication, Installation of Architectural Aluminum and Glass)
  • Strong and developed English and Vietnamese oral and written skills, English at least at IELTS 5.0
  • Intermediate/advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel spreadsheets
  • Must have experience with SAP systems, understand of ERP system controls
  • High attention to details, excellent in analytical skills, in data analytics procedures / techniques to understand the implications
  • Deadline-Oriented, demonstrated experience in meeting project/work timelines and achieving required outcomes, demonstrated work prioritization skills
  • Reporting Skills, Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, Data Entry Management, General Math Skill
  • Ability to make judgments in certain situations using facts that they know through accounting principles, through investigating and analyzing source materials and the ability to organize and plan out a workflow that will require minimum supervision
  • Ability to support multiple assignments and the QUAN DAT Board, prioritize workload for self, and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines
