Finance Manager

- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue recognition, taxes, financial closing and reporting;

- Design and implement finance processes and controls for internal business operations, and work with internal & external stakeholders to refine them over time;

- Manage annual budget, ensure it complies with local accounting standards and Group policies;

- Keep abreast of local accounting and taxation regulations to provide support where necessary;

- Deliver accurate and timely financial/management reports in accordance to stipulated requirements to key stakeholders;

- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, local tax and government authorities where required;

- Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5-8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably 3-5 years of prior working experience in Big 4 Audit firm and 2-3 years within financial controlling in a tech start-up;

- Fluency in English is required;

- Great analytical and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail and the bigger picture in mind;

- Able to drive changes and with continuous improvement mentality;

- Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow;

- A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude, pragmatic, and able to work independently when required.
