Job Description

Our client - a huge business group is seeking for an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) who will give a direction for technology implementation and be responsible for controlling the technological resources. You will be the one who sets objectives and strategies for the IT department.

  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
  • Lead and coordinate IT units to build and transfer technology assets based on an overall technology plan.
  • Build and transfer high technology business model with a customer is the focus for the technology program.
  • Develop and implement the transformation of technical infrastructure relating to the data center, telecommunication, end-user, security and service infrastructure.
  • Effectively manage (including innovating, budget planning, service providing) life cycles of technology partners
  • Improve governance framework and technology control.
  • Orient and evaluate new technology trends in order to improve capacity.
  • Orient, track, and support the implementation process of investment projects and technology solutions.
  • Support and effectively manage technology features and support technology transfer.
  • In charge of resource management to ensure the quality and quantity of business.
  • Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions
  • Build and manage the annual budget.
  • Identify the risk of the business unit during the operation, coordinate the relevant units to develop measurement methods to assess and minimize risks.
  • Build policies, processes and give guidance about developing IT solutions.

Requirement

  • You will have a solid and impressive work history ideally at the C-suite influence
  • IT background within a financial services environment and consistently keep up-to-date with advancements of the field and have every quality of a leader and a strong strategic and business acumen.
  • 12+ years experience in technology leadership and management roles
  • Demonstrable experience building and leading high performing teams
  • Demonstrable experience leading Agile and/or Digital change
  • A strong strategic and business mindset with the ability to clearly articulate technology priorities to align stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technologies and architecture patterns
  • Experience working in a distributed environment with delivery and/or support functions distributed across on and offshore locations
  • Appreciation for the importance and scope of IT risk and security controls
