Job Description
- Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build new products, platforms and features.
- Build re-usable Android software components for the Be platform.
- Collaborate with QA on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) as well as other automated and manual testing to make sure our app release cycles.
- Provide technology leadership to the team and foster engineering excellence.
- Design, build and improve the mobile experiences for one of the world's fastest growing mobile app in ride-hailing, delivery, food, payments, etc.
- Monitor the performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and experience level.
- Communicate, collaborate and work effectively across cross functional teams in a global environment.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields.
- At least 1+ years of experience in Android development.
- Up-to-date on the modern Android programming paradigm, including the use of RxJava and/or Kotlin.
- Should have an excellent understanding of Java - OOPS, Interface, Abstract class, Collection framework.
- You have working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage and security.
- Must have a good understanding of Android basics like Manifest components, Activities, services, Intent, Fragment use, and lifecycle management.
- Understanding the MVC/MVP/MVVM design patterns.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Experience in Flutter development.
- Experience in Unit Testing.
- Familiarity with Scrum & Agile.
