Job Description

INNOMIZE is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. As part of the technical team, the Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the business and documenting its systems and processes. You will be responsible for creating and capturing requirements, tracking changes, and monitoring and reporting on work and progress. You will serve as an intermediary between the technical teams, Clients, and PMO, outlining the needs of the business, and ensuring the software or system is designed, developed, and delivered to meet those needs. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a liaison between the technical team and internal stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
  • Performs analysis for applications and partners with Product owners to understand business objectives and roadmap of products. 
  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilize formal communication methods (for example: emails, workflow, PPT, updates, tasks list, etc.) to communicate updates and findings.
  • Ensure that client needs are analyzed, documented, approved, and delivered as required.
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications, maintains relationships with the business, and drives standard business processes across engineering.
  • Analyze and document current technology stacks, project resources and results.
  • Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements and functional specifications to software engineering teams.
  • Participate in multiple pre-sales or project meetings or scoping of requirements with the external and internal customers.
  • Ensure local, regional and global project management and software development lifecycle methodologies are adhered to.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, technical program management or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven team player who works well with both technical and non-technical resources.
  • Comfortable with multitasking across several projects and managing several stakeholders at any given time.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience in the analysis, development and implementation of software-based business solutions.
  • Experience in formal project management activities
  • Experience in process mapping and change control
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Interpersonal skills

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in a Finance, Supply Chain / Logistic environment
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain development and operation.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and their interfaces
  • Working knowledge of communications protocols and networking technology
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture and ITIL
  • MS Axapta, SQL exposure
