– This position will work for one of the South Asia’s largest hospitality group with presence across 230 cities and currently operating 3000+ hotels in India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Nepal. They pioneered and revolutionized the fragmented and legacydriven budget hospitality space by enabling standardization of services, amenities and in-room experience. ➤ The three core pillars of our offering are: – Standardized Experience: Consistent experience across all hotel in the hotel network – Affordability: Rooms offered at prices that no other player in the affordable segment offers – Technology driven: Pioneering technology allows consumers to book hotels in just 3 taps, or within 5 second The company has raised a total of $1B in venture financing and is backed by several globally renowned investors such as SoftBank Group, Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greenoaks Capital and China Lodging Group. 🔷 JOB DESCRIPTION: – Plan & oversee business development efforts for the company in assigned areas / clusters with a goal to on-board high-quality budget hotels on to the company's network – Identify new hotels that meet the company's standards in terms of location, pricing, infrastructure quality, owner willingness etc. and pitch the company’s partnership proposal – Negotiate the company’s commercial agreement with interested hotels and sign-up rooms – Strengthen relationship with existing hotel owners & other relevant stakeholders Collaborate with other teams in the company such as operations, marketing, pricing, customer support, finance etc. to ensure smooth functioning of hotels on day-to-day basis 🔷 Job Requirement – 4-8 years of high quality experience in sales or business development – Strong analytical skills and ability to structure / negotiate large and complex business deals – Mature, professional and has ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with clients – High degree of ownership, roll-up-your-sleeve attitude & willingness to get task completed – Comfortable working in cross-functional setups requiring the candidate to collaborate with multiple teams locally as well as globally – Local market knowledge of Vietnam is a must – Relevant experience in hospitality industry is an advantage – Experience in early-stage startup environments preferred
